Nolan Ryan's 7 no hitters? Dimaggio's hit streak? Cal Ripken's streak?

CY Youngs 511 wins will never ever be touched. Almost every other record has the plausibility of being broken

Although Ripkin's Iron Man is also very unlikely to be broken

I'm gonna go with John Walker's feat of being the FIRST world class Track & Field athlete to
run 100 sub-4 minute miles in official competition. Of course he did it more than 30 years ago;
somebody may have passed him by now!

Yeah, I'd say Ripken's will never be broken, as players get softer and softer. Plus, players miss games for having kids now too. Managers probably wouldn't even be allowed to play franchise guys 162 times a year these days.

Secretariat winning the Belmont by 31 lengths in record time that still stands 50 years later.

I love that movie, and Seabiscuit too

Although it looks like I'm going to be denied my weekend in Saratoga this year, where I pick horses based on the names (or numbers)

We'll have to meet up there Willie. Drinks on me.

I'm still hopeful that they're gonna open this year. The paved area running down from the clubhouse to the rail is set up with double seating, socially distanced. Looks like they are still hoping for Cuomo to green light them. But I'm not holding my breath.

If not this year, then next
